This material includes the Society Journals up to No 19, 1997 and the Memory Meetings up to No.7.  The Journals from No 20 onwards and all the Newsletters were prepared on disc and are already on the Society website :

www.Broseley.org

The material has been scanned to the pages.  A selection of twelve articles were previously scanned and included in the ‘History’ pages but are included also here for completeness.  Some of the articles in the earlier publications were so faint that they resisted scanning and had to be largely retyped.  A few errors occurred during the scanning.  There may be some there still despite the corrections and some enthusiastic proof checking by David Lake.  Also, since these articles were written some time ago, the information that they contain may now be out of date.  Comments will be welcome.

The material has been indexed both chronologically and alphabetically.  From these index pages it is easy to do a mouse click on the title to go straight to the issue or article that is wanted.  A chronological list of Society meetings has also being compiled and added.  Some additions are still needed.

In looking through this material, it is fascinating to catch up on the history of the Society and its members.  It is possible to appreciate the tremendous work done by enthusiasts researching and reporting much archive material, organising meetings, membership and excursions and assembling the collection of artefacts.  Many of the names that occur are still well known.  We can only be grateful for all this very hard work.
